Saturday night we had an amazing time celebrating with some of our closet friends. Fernando told all the guys and two of my girl friends, Ashley and Tracy, ahead of time, then left the party planning to them -- it was great!! We had chocolate cupcakes with candles that spelled out "congratulations", a platter of Chick-fil-a nuggets, chips and queso and champagne. My two girls each gave a toast and they had a card for everyone to sign. It was such a nice surprise to see so many friends that ALL knew ahead of time! It was an unforgettable night!!! On Sunday, we went out to dinner with my aunt Fifi to celebrate. It was really nice to visit with her about our upcoming plans and share printouts of the engagement photos. She offered to throw another party for our two families to get together that will likely be in late June.
Tonight we had drinks with Fernando's sister, Erika, who just got back from New York. She will be one of my bridesmaids and my newest sister : )
Too bad this weekend had to end -- it was soo perfect.
