Mucho mas Progress

Saturday the 18th was a big big day. Not only did we have our Engagement session, we also picked up our rings and I had my first dress fitting!

Our rings look great. We were so happy with them and excited that we went to lunch at Cosmic Cafe - yum - wearing them. It was fun to play married for a bit. The rings are now safely back in their boxes until we get them engraved and put them on each other May 2.

After lunch Fernando and I went our separate ways and I went with Ashely to try my dress on for the first time. It was so beautiful and clean and new! They fitted the straps to be altered but could not do much else until I buy shoes. The tailor kind of laughed at me for being so early.

I'm on track according to the Knot, so I'm not concerned. We have also chosen a hotel for our out of town guests - more on that will be on our Website. The registry is basically complete. We stopped by a tux place and were also told too early. There's a few more big items and the rest will be details. Everything is coming together quite nicely and stress-free (for the most part). We have just over 6 months to go. I'm sure it will fly by with the holidays coming up and then so much more.

We have tickets to Guatemala to see my mom and Stephanie for Christmas and New Year's. Chamanda's baby girl is due December 26. ChriSteven and Henry are most-likely going to come visit in January because they have some big news that may hinder Christine's traveling in May. We'll go see the Chamanda baby in February. Erika's big 3-0 is in March and then we're almost there!

On Sunday, we had a girls day at the spa and went shopping for Valerie's birthday and Kate got engaged that night! Such a good weekend.
