This past Thursday night we officially kicked off the first job at our new agency/event planning business - job number 5209, EFG Wedding Stationary.

Background:
Robby had a vision for creating our wedding invitations before Fernando and I even knew we would get married. He told me over a year ago and I giggled and smiled and of course agreed to make the deal. Now here we are and it's time to create. We will have very special stationary that will be uniquely ours and all custom made and assembled by hand.
Like the good account person that I am, I had to provide him with a Creative Brief and Tactical Supplement to get the job started. The paper work includes things like ideas on what we are going for as far as theme and tone, project elements - from save the dates to new address cards to a wedding Website - postage requirements, quantities, etc. Tracy sent out the meeting request to schedule the Kick Off and now it's official. This is what we do. Advertising/ event planning, it's all about the same and we can do it all. I think we could really make it on our own one day.
My favorite quote from the Creative Brief is under the "who are we talking to section", it says "Many of our friends are designers and will be judging you"
We met to discuss the vision of the EFG brand identity, colors, requirements, timing, etc. Tracy took notes and is responsible for a Meeting Recap. We'll have a follow up meeting on or before 7/16 to see concepts. I can't wait!!!
